Fratelli - Benijofar

Wednesday 25th Aug 2010. After reading the reviews on this website and speaking to friends about this restaurant, i was really looking forward to sampling this restaurants food. I wasnt let down by the food, which was the best Italian food id ever tasted, but was let down by the service. We arrived at the restaurant at 9pm, and after being seated we were given menus and served drinks very quickly,(a little too quickly we found out later). The meal was excellent!. Starter and main course was superb, but as we were nearing the end of our main course we felt hurried to finish our meals. This was approx 10pm. We asked to sit outside to finish our coffees and to smoke, and was very abruptly told to be "no more than ten minutes!". All the seating had been cleared away but a very miserable scottish waiter reluctantly set out two chairs. We immediatly asked for the bill off a man who was one of the owners, who had equally the same temperment. I thanked him for the great food and told him that we saw his restaurant on this web site, to which he gave a "am i bothered" shrug of the shoulders. In summary, Great food, bad atmosphere.

We have been to Fratellis on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The menu is extensive, the service second to none, price excellent, staff really friendly. I thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Benijofar to visit they will not be disappointed

we always make time for a visit to Fratelli's whenever we are visiting my brother in Spain. We love the service and staff but most of all we love the food! The thought of sitting outside eating a lovely meal with a glass of wine, overlooking the church when it is lit up on a balmy evening has seen me through many a cold English Winter's night. I really do recommend you give it a try.

Heard of this from some friends and would certainly recommend it if you want Italian food that tastes Italian. Have been back several times and tried different dishes and all are to the very best standard. The staff are very helpful and will cook your meal to your taste. We always take visitors from the UK and have never been disappointed. The only negative is the extensive menu as it takes my wife ages to select whilst I sit there and drool at the meals coming out of the kitchen. They also have a specials board which will tempt your taste buds.I would say that if you like REAL Italian food then a trip out to this restaurant and you wont be disappointed.
